Conduit F3 is a weapon in Destiny that is believed to have had it's name changed before the release of destiny.

Summary

The Conduit F3 is a directed energy disbursement firearm, A.K.A. Fusion Rifle, models designed by Humans and based on enemy technology found in the field. The original prototypes of Fusion Rifles were extremely unstable and unsafe, due to problems such as faulty radiation shielding. The Conduit F3 model uses advanced barrel techniques to reduce the wattage needed to power the inertial chamber of the device, making it a somewhat safer weapon than its predecessors.[1]

The combat situation should be evaluated carefully as the current model requires some charging before it can be fired. However, when the weapon burst fires, the rounds have great penetration, possibly taking-out multiple enemies at once.[2]
