How do you think the Vex are able to time travel? (30/08/2013)[]

I've been wondering about this for a while now I think I know how but I'm not too sure. I think that the silver liquid looking stuff at the center of their chests has something to do with it, and if so. Is that their weakness? What do you guys think? Vex

I was thinking that perhaps their time travel is location-based, so that they can teleport to locations they have recently been in. This could possibly heal them to what their previous health was, but then it should be only a one-use trick. Right now, this is the only thing I can think of, and it seems like it could be an interest combat feature. Sorry if my idea doesn't make sense, it's kind of hard to explain what I'm thinking. Utpab (talk) 02:19, 31 August 2013 (UTC) The other cause of the Vex's time travel would be during combat. While an opponent is shooting at the Vex, it can dodge its bullets by using its time travel to another location i.e. teleportation. Teleportation is time travel in a sense of transferring oneself from one point to another without disrupting the physical space between them. This will make it much harder to kill if the weak point of the Vex is the silver liquid of their chest. 05:59, 18 September 2013 (USCentral)

Should we add a "Gameplay" subsection to the main page, and include articles such as "Public Events," and "Co-Op" in the list?(20/9/2013)[]

Just as the title says. It seems that there are a number of articles concerning those types of topics, but they're completely isolated from each other unless embedded in another article.

--Tutu385 (talk) 01:02, 20 September 2013 (UTC)I think this should happen. I mean Game Modes is an important aspect of Destiny.

--Danimal1 (talk) 01:46, 20 September 2013 (UTC)Nice work on the list! After we get more info on the different raids/types of public events/arena modes, we should add sublinks for each type. For example:

Public Events

--Tutu385 (talk) 01:18, 21 September 2013 (UTC) Yeah. does anyone know what the quest to kill Rixis is called and what type of game mode?

--Danimal1 (talk) 01:51, 21 September 2013 (UTC) I watched through both the normal Destiny E3 playthrough and the extended one, and neither showed any update on the screen when entering the Wall, encountering the first group of Fallen, or upon meeting and killing Rixis.

Fixing the Destiny video section. 19/9/13[]

I wondered if the videos made by DestinyUpdates would look less cluttered if they were organized into hyperlinks and given easy to read titles.

--Danimal1 (talk) 02:02, 20 September 2013 (UTC)I think that would be a good idea. At the moment, that section looks really haphazard, and the small size of the videos forces you to either go full screen or open the video in a new tab. Maybe we could also organize the videos by having separate lists for each month.

File duplicates and spamming[]

Not pointing any fingers, but please make sure that the file you upload isn't an exact copy of another, as it makes other images farther back in the File List MUCH harder to find.

Preparing Armor Lists[]

So I've finished the Armor and Gadgets page, but want to change it a little bit. Instead of listing all the armor there, I was thinking of having each section have links to pages that list a specific classes's equipment for that slot. I'm hesitant to do that though, as it would create 15 new pages, most of which would be empty until we get more names for confirmed pieces of armor.

Organization of Armor/Gadgets/Weapons[]

--Danimal1 (talk) 01:52, 28 September 2013 (UTC) I've set up a general system for making it much the listing of armor/gadgets/weapons much easier: instead of those items listed on a single page where multiple types of those respective items are (having all pulse rifles listed on the same page as all the machine guns), I have put links on those pages to individual pages, so that all pulse rifles are on a different page than the machine guns. However, this still presents the problem of people wanting to find ONLY exotic weapons, or ONLY superior weapons. We could go one more layer of pages deeper, and split up everything into three separate pages-Common,Superior, and Exotic-however, I feel that would just create more clutter than anything. Anybody have any thoughts?
